2012 International Zinc and Zinc Oxide Industry Conference

Rancho Mirage, California, USA - February 19-22, 2012

Registration materials are now available for the 2012 International Zinc & Zinc Oxide Industry Conference. The meetings will be held from February 19-22, 2012 at The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA, USA.

Registration details and a preliminary program are available on the conference website. Both the website and program contain registration, hotel and travel information. We suggest that you make your airline, hotel and rental car reservations as soon as possible, as the hotel cut-off date is Wednesday, January 11, 2012.

The program and website will continue to be updated as new information is acquired.

Zinc College in Rio de Janeiro

May 20-24, 2012

The 10^th Zinc College will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from May 20-24, 2012. The five-day international training program will cover the entire range of the zinc business, spanning from exploration to marketing, finance and trading to sustainable development and environment. The course includes lectures, working group sessions and a smelter tour. An optional mine visit will be organized on Friday, May 25, 2012.

Zinc College instructors include zinc industry executives and key representatives from private and public institutions.Zinc College is targeted at managers from all functional areas of zinc and zinc-using companies and others with an interest in zinc.

Zinc College registration fees are US$ 3,000 for IZA Members. Fees include tuition, most meals, evening activities and the smelter tour.

Zinc College 2012 is organized by the International Zinc Association in cooperation with Votorantim Metais.

Program and registration details will be available at the end of 2011.
